The Rotary Environmental/Scientific Advancement Award

This award will be awarded to a project that has displayed innovation in advancing understanding of an aspect of the environment, with particular reference to water/sanitation, and demonstrates sustainability. Rotary is committed to tackling some of the world’s biggest challenges. The winning student(s) will receive £500, a framed certificate and special trophy. Rotary will also arrange for an experience day to enable the winning student(s)s to advance their knowledge and understanding of the issue that they have addressed. Rotary is one of the world’s largest and most successful global membership and humanitarian service organisations, with 1.2 million members in 35,000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries.
