: How does it feel to have won?

Jack Tallentire: To even compete at such a prestigious event was a great privilege for me. Talking with other competitors with exceptional projects, alongside experienced people from established industries proved a valuable and rewarding experience. Throughout the course of the competition, my interactions with industry leads and experts in the field of STEM has provided me with further motivation to continue developing my concepts to the next level. I feel very passionately about my project and winning an award at the Big Bang has given me the confidence boost to take further steps towards my ultimate goal of producing a device that makes a genuine difference to the lives of people with visual impairments.
